​Kirsten…. We call her Chicken. No one really remembers why, and honestly, it makes absolutely no sense — because Kirsten is anything but a chicken. She’s faced many brave moments in her life, and she has stood on her head through them all.

In her career, she’s a powerhouse. Anyone who’s experienced “the Kirsten stare-down” — that calm, piercing “I’m sorry you feel that way” look — knows exactly what I mean. And to those who’ve been fired by our so-called Chicken (and yes, there have been many)… my sympathies. She’s composed, decisive, and disarmingly good at it.

As a friend, Kirsten is the person you call when you need solid, reliable support – getting something done properly, efficiently, and with a little extra sparkle you didn’t even know you needed. She’s the one who shows up on time, with all the right things plus a few thoughtful extras. Want to go out for a great meal and not care about calories because life’s too short to skip dessert? Kirsten’s your girl. Need a dose of common sense or a little life advice? Call Kirsten — she’ll give it to you straight, with warmth and wisdom.

As a mom of three busy kids, she’s the kind of parent you secretly hope your kids will be friends with — because it means you get to be friends with her, too. Everything she does as a friend — showing up, anticipating needs, keeping things grounded — she does as a mom. She’s steady, reliable, and has an uncanny sense of knowing what everyone needs before they even realize it themselves.

And as a proud member of the 1976 St. Lucia crew, Kirsten brings the perfect balance of fun and responsibility. She’s the one who keeps the laughter going, but also makes sure we all have our Tylenol and water before bed — because she knows tomorrow’s sunrise is worth waking up for.

Our Chicken is no chicken at all. She’s fearless, thoughtful, endlessly capable — and the kind of person who makes every circle she’s in stronger, kinder, and just a little more fun.
