If there’s a force quietly holding this whole group together, it’s Wendy. She is the social glue—the rare person who not only brings people together, but makes them feel genuinely seen once they arrive. Her gatherings are never just parties; they’re experiences—thoughtfully themed, beautifully organized, and always fun.
Wendy is the friend who shows up. Always. Middle of the night, last-minute crisis, big life moment—she’s there. She’s fiercely loyal, deeply generous, and endlessly supportive… right up until the point she lovingly reminds you to get real if that's what you need. A natural organizer and connector, she somehow keeps lifelong friendships and keeps adding new ones into the mix.
She’s also endlessly curious. Wendy loves learning and commits fully once she chooses a path—tennis, golf, and yes, mahjong. She mastered it and then pulled all of us in, turning it into another meaningful way we stay social and connected—one that fits where we are in life, focused on staying active, curious, and sharp in both body and mind.
Wendy even went back to school in her mid 40s for her second postgraduate degree, because curiosity and growth clearly don't have an expiry date. Add in five incredibly independent, high-functioning, and famously well-behaved kids (plus Mars, who everyone knows runs the house), a passion for the arts, action, and giving back—and you’ve got Wendy in a nutshell. And then there’s Lalit, her steady, wonderful partner — a great match, and someone she’s built something truly special with.
We love Wendy because she brings us together, lifts us up, and somehow makes life better just by being part of it.
